Job Description: 

Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the AI and Smart Building Business Unit.  He/she will define the product strategy and roadmap for integrated our solutions, to drive the end-to-end product management, profitable revenue growth, and successful market penetration across Hong Kong and key Asia markets, forging strong partnerships with developers, property managers, system integrators, and channel partners.

 

Job Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development
1. Define and own the long-term product vision, roadmap, planning, development priorities, and lifecycle management for the Smart Building & Facility portfolio
2. Translate market needs, customer feedback, and emerging technologies (IoT, AI, advance analytics) into differentiated, commercially viable products
3. Oversee product development processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet regional technical standards and user requirements

 

Business Performance & P&L Accountability
1. Take full ownership of the business unit’s Profit & Loss (P&L), revenue targets, margin performance, and overall commercial success
2. Develop pricing strategies, cost optimization initiatives, and financial forecasting to achieve sustainable growth and profitability

 

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
1. Design and execute comprehensive Go-to-Market strategies tailored to Hong Kong and Asia Pacific markets, including positioning, launch plans, and demand-generation programmes
2. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and business development teams to drive market adoption and competitive differentiation
3. Support channel partner strategy execution by providing deep product expertise, training, technical collateral, and solution guidance to distributors, system integrators, and technology partners                                  
                                                
                                                
Sales Enablement & Pre-Sales Leadership
1. Lead and coach the pre-sales and sales support teams, providing deep product expertise, technical guidance, solution architecture input, and winning proposal support
2. Ensure seamless alignment between product capabilities and customer needs across direct and indirect sales channels

       

Strategic Supply Chain & Ecosystem Management
1. Lead strategic vendor selection, evaluation, and partnership development for key hardware, software, and technology components (IoT devices, sensors, controllers, cloud platforms, analytics engines, etc.)
2. Build and nurture a robust supplier ecosystem that enables differentiated, competitive, and regionally optimised smart building solutions
3. Establish long-term strategic alliances and co-development partnerships with technology providers to accelerate innovation and strengthen product competitiveness                                                                                                                                                                              
                                               
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
1. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing functional team of product managers, and technical specialists
2. Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and customer-centricity within the business unit                                           
                                                
                                                
Market Intelligence & Regulatory Excellence
1. Continuously monitor market trends, regulatory landscape, competitor activities, and emerging PropTech opportunities
2. Ensure all products comply with local standards and contribute to sustainability and smart-city goals in the region"    

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline

- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in product management, product development, or solution strategy within the building/facility industry, property management, or PropTech sector

- At least 5 years in a senior leadership or Director-level role with direct P&L responsibility
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. PMP, LEED, CEM, BEAM Plus, etc) is desirable but not mandatory                            
  Deep domain expertise in Smart Building and Facility technologies (BMS/BAS, HVAC controls, IoT platforms, PropTech solutions, digital twins, energy management, and ESG analytics)
- Strong understanding of building/facility operations and property management practices in high-density Asian markets

- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling smart building/IoT/PropTech products in Hong Kong, or Asia Pacific markets
- Experience working with or within BMS manufacturers, system integrators, property developers, or leading PropTech companies is highly preferred
- Existing network within Hong Kong’s real estate, construction, and smart-city ecosystem is a strong advantage"   
- Proven ability to manage full product lifecycle
- Excellent P&L management, financial acumen, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills (able to engage C-level clients, partners, and internal executives)
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, Putonghua is a significant advantage
