DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to management.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections in collaboration with business units

• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, and provide clear explanations to management

• Support long-range planning and scenario analysis to assess business impacts

 

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and financial performance summaries

• Analyze revenue, cost, and profitability trends by business units, customer, or project

• Support month-end closing activities, including review of financial results and key drivers

 

Business Partnering

• Partner with business and operational teams to understand performance drivers and financial implications

• Provide financial insights to support business decisions

• Assist in evaluating new initiatives

 

Process & Data Management

• Maintain and improve financial models, templates, and reporting processes

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems and reports

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

 

Other Responsibilities

• Support audits, internal reviews, and ad-hoc management requests

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Finance function

• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A or accounting. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PowerQuery, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). 
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and core accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc). 
  • CPA / ACCA or progress toward certification is required.
