Job Summary
To support the Product Manager to carry out different tasks of Data Centre Product Development, Product Management and Sales Support.
Job Duties
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and own the product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmap for data center infrastructure and service offerings.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging technologies.
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and pricing strategies.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, facilities, and architecture teams to design and build new data center capabilities.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch to end‑of‑life, ensuring continuous improvement.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and service delivery teams to ensure successful product adoption.
- Lead product reviews, stakeholder alignment sessions, and go-to-market planning.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all data center products.
Performance & Operational Excellence
- Monitor product performance metrics, utilization, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Identify operational efficiencies, capacity planning needs, and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure products comply with data center standards for reliability, security, and sustainability.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Engage with enterprise customers, cloud providers, and ecosystem partners to gather feedback.
- Support sales with technical expertise, product collateral, and customer presentations.
- Build partnerships with vendors and technology providers to enhance the product portfolio.
Education , Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in Data Center Solutions, Cloud infrastructure or related IT industries.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Understand the Data Center architecture, including power (UPS, PDU), cooling (air-cool and liquid cooling), and networking.
- Standards & Compliance: Knowledge of industry standards like ASHRAE and Uptime Institute is considered a plus.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional), CDCS (Certificated Data Center Specialist) are considered a plus.
- Financial Management: Ability to build business cases, manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and handle P&L for product lines.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Good communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to lead complex projects under tight deadlines.
